Hey Everyone,
At the beginning of the year, I set out to remember everyone's birthday so I could call or send something. I have failed miserably with this new year's resolution. MISERABLY! And I am sorry. I will try and do better. But please know this: I think about ALL of you all the time. I am always wondering how you're doing and wondering what is new your lives, and I miss you all terribly! And I am sorry for not being the friend I should.
Next, I have lots of pictures to post. Lots of things have happened in the last couple of months and it's been quite the whirlwind.
First of all, I should inform you all that we have moved! Just down the street and around the corner moved, but we have a new address:
On to the pics!
Near our new house is a place that we call "The Retentions." Rain water collects and forms these giant ponds. We take Sam there to play and run around and it's great because we take him off leash. This is Sam and Dave's Rock. They love climbing up on it together and playing hide and seek around the bushes. I love my boys!
This is me and my mom. My mom got to visit shortly after Dave's mom was here. It was also great to see her! She got to feel Jackson move and kick and I was really happy that she got to experience it with me, even if it was for a short time.
For our 3rd anniversary, Dave got us a 2 night stay on Whidbey Island in a small tourist town called Langley. It was great! We took a ferry to the San Juan Islands and got to look at some tide pools on the coast. This is Dave pointing out some of the creatures we saw.
This is me being daring and going against everything my mother would say had she been there. I climbed down the rocks so I could see the tide pools. I didn't fall or anything! In fact, I realized how much I miss running and playing sports. With that said, I can't wait until the baby is born so I can go hiking again! (Mom Char, family camping trip to the Tetons next summer. We must go!)
Sheered Alpacas we saw on Orcas Island. I want one....
Dave "steering" the ferry.
Me with the Sorting Hat from Harry Potter. There is a cute children's bookstore in Langley and upstairs they have a hat room.
My Hero!
Just a general update: we are 33 weeks along now, doing very well, gaining weight, and getting ready for some major changes: Dave leaves for training in Louisiana on June 4 and could be gone until July 12, the baby will be born and blessed at some point, and then Dave leaves for Iraq in September and will be gone for a year. There are so many things happening right now but I am so grateful for my family and friends. I'm especially grateful for Dave and all that he does for our family. And I'm really, really grateful for the gospel. There are just some things I wouldn't be able to do without it! We love you all! Keep us posted on how things are going.

Susan! It was so good to hear from you! Sounds like you are doing wonderful. And you look so cute, you pregnant women you! We are loving the village! Thanks for recommending it. I'll graduate in December then hopefully begin the Masters of Health Promotions program at the U in the spring. I am jealous you guys have a house, a dog, and soon you'll have a baby! What else could you ask for?
Suze and Dave:
First off I want to say, "Your family makes up all these weird terms for things and then walks around like everyone knows what you're talking about!" Secondly, loved this post. You look so pregnant but you and Dave seem like you had so much fun at Whigby Island. Love you guys! I'll call you tomorrow probably!
Oh my gosh! You are the cutest pregnant woman ever! Glad to hear that you guys are doing well. Oh, I would love a "gig" whenever you are in Salt Lake. It would be so good to see you again.
